The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is offering TVET College learners a valuable opportunity to gain practical workplace experience through its Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme for 2026. About the SASSA WIL Programme
SASSA’s Northern Cape Regional Office is hosting this Work Integrated Learning initiative. It aims to equip TVET learners with the hands-on skills and knowledge required to succeed in their chosen fields. The program offers five positions across different departments, allowing participants to learn about government administration, public sector operations, and professional conduct.
Available WIL Opportunities
The SASSA WIL Programme for 2026 has openings in three key areas, each requiring specific N6 qualifications.
Fraud and Risk Management (2 Posts)
Learners interested in this area will need an N6 National Certificate or Statement of Results in Risk Management, Internal Audit, or Policing. These roles will provide insight into how government agencies manage risks and prevent fraud.
Communications and Marketing (2 Posts)
For those with a flair for communication, SASSA is looking for N6 certificate holders in Public Relations or Media Studies. This opportunity will expose learners to public sector communication strategies and marketing efforts.
Customer Care (1 Post)
This position is ideal for students who have completed N6 studies in Public Management or Public Administration. The role focuses on understanding and improving customer service operations within a government agency.
