Requirements for the Registry Internship
Applicants for the Registry Internship must have completed Grade 12 or hold an NCV NQF Level 4 qualification. A National Diploma in Public Administration, Management, or Records Management is required. Furthermore, candidates must possess a relevant NQF Level 6 qualification.
Registry Internship Duties
The Registry Interns will assist with the management of mail and records. Their duties include receiving and recording incoming and outgoing mail, establishing filing systems, and creating new files. They will prepare physical documents for scanning by removing staples and paper clips. Operating high-speed scanners and converting physical records into digital formats will be key tasks. Interns will also compile minutes of registry meetings and ensure scanned images are clear, accurate, and complete. Capturing document details and identifying records for archiving are also part of the role, along with performing other duties assigned by their supervisor.
