CIPC Internships 2026: Paid Opportunities for Graduates in Pretoria

About the CIPC Internship Programme

CIPC, part of the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (dtic), runs these internships to give graduates practical workplace training. They help you use what you learned in school within a real office setting. You will build skills in public service while working at the Sunnyside Office in Pretoria, Gauteng.

The programmes last 12 or 24 months, depending on the role. All interns receive a monthly stipend of R12 000. Applications close on 29 April 2026.

Available Internship Opportunities

CIPC has two types of internships open right now.

Records Management Interns (2 Positions)

Reference number: RecManInterns.
This 12-month role focuses on handling records and information.
You need a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Records Management, Library and Information Science, or Information Management.

E-Communications Interns (2 Positions)

Reference number: e-Cominterns.
This 24-month position involves public administration and communication tasks.
A National Diploma in Public Administration is required.

Who Can Apply?

These spots are for South African citizens aged 18 to 35. You must be unemployed and have no prior internship experience in your study field. CIPC checks for equal opportunities and supports employment equity.
