Internship Responsibilities
Interns will handle everyday tasks to build practical skills. You will assist with general administrative duties in Civic Education and Research. This includes supporting the Outreach Management System (OMS) and helping with stakeholder coordination. Other duties cover compiling documents, preparing reports and presentations, taking minutes, and maintaining filing systems. You will also coordinate outreach events, manage logistics, and support office functions.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify, you need a Matric certificate (Grade 12, N3, or NTC Level 4). A Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Public Administration or Political Sciences is required. Applicants must be 35 years old or younger and currently unemployed. You cannot have prior work experience in your field or previous internship participation. Preference goes to people with disabilities, but avoid a high political party profile.
Required Skills and Competencies
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. You need computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new systems. Good time management, organization, and the capacity to work alone or in a team matter. Professionalism and interpersonal skills will help you succeed.
