- Computer literacy.
- Age between 21 and 35 years old.
- Must be a resident of the Laingsburg area.
Financial Management Intern
The Finance and Compliance Services department is offering two positions for Financial Management Interns. The remuneration for this role is R100,000 per annum, with no additional benefits or allowances. These interns will play a role in supporting the department’s financial operations.
Requirements for Financial Management Intern:
- A BCom Degree, National Diploma, or equivalent qualification, preferably with a major in Accounting.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Afrikaans and English.
- Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
Responsibilities of Financial Management Interns
Successful candidates in the Financial Management internship will be involved in various tasks. They will assist in ensuring adherence to GRAP (Generally Recognised Accounting Practice) principles and budget procedures. This includes helping to develop statistical reporting modules, financial policies, and financial statements.
Interns will also support the compilation of budgets, financial statements, and management reports. Other duties involve assisting with reconciliations, financial analyses, and the electronic capturing of financial data. Performing general financial administration duties will also be part of the role. Interns may have the opportunity to rotate through different departments during their internship period.
