A: UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMMES
Bachelor of Education in Science (two teaching subjects) Physics and Mathematics: (3 Years)
Form Six (VI) with TWO principal passes in relevant subjects or its equivalent. The sum of points from at least two subjects (all passed at the same sitting), should not be less than 4.0 points of the NECTA grading system (A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1).
OR
Diploma in Teacher Education (Science Subjcts) with an average of “B” or GPA of 3.0.
Bachelor of Education in Science (two teaching subjects) Biology and Geography: (3 Years)
Form Six (VI) with TWO principal passes in relevant subjects or its equivalent. The sum of points from at least two subjects (all passed at the same sitting), should not be less than 4.0 points of the NECTA grading system (A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1).
OR
Diploma in Teacher Education (Science Subjcts) with an average of “B” or GPA of 3.0.

OR
Diploma in Teacher Education (Science Subjcts) with an average of “B” or GPA of 3.0.
OR
Foundation Programme of the OUT with a GPA of 3.0 accumulated from six core subjects. And at least a C grade in three(Science Subjcts).
Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics (BSc MS) (3 Years)
Form Six (VI) with TWO principal passes in relevant subjects or its equivalent. The sum of points from at least two subjects (all passed at the same sitting), should not be less than 4.0 points of the NECTA grading system (A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1).
OR
Diploma in Teachers Education, (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science) with an average of “B” or GPA of 3.0.
EQUIVALENT ADMISSION QUALIFICATION
A Diploma in the fields of Specialization and passed at Upper Second Class, or Average of B grade or GPA of 3.0 AND passes in any FOUR subjects at Form Four (IV). (Please refer the TCU admission criteria for any other equivalent qualification.
B. MODE OF APPLICATION
i) Applicants for Degree Programs
Applicants for Degree Programs are required to apply online through the University Webs ite www.maruco.ac.tz and follow instructions given by the online application system to apply for the courses of their choice.
Application Fee: Application is 10,000 Tsh. for All Applicants.
