Waterberg TVET College, in partnership with the Education, Training and Development Practices Sector Education and Training Authority (ETDP SETA), is offering a valuable opportunity for unemployed youth. A total of five 24-month internship positions are available across various fields, providing practical work experience and a monthly stipend of R6,000. This program aims to equip graduates with essential skills and enhance their employability within the South African job market.

Information Technology Internship

  • Placement Sites: Engineering and Skills Training Centre, Lebowakgomo Campus, and Central Office.
  • Requirements: Applicants must possess a Grade 12 certificate, NCV Level 4, a Diploma in Information Technology, an Advanced Certificate in Information Technology, or an Occupational Certificate in Information Technology. This role is ideal for those looking to build careers in IT support, systems administration, technical support, network administration, and information systems.

Public Administration, Business Management, and Management Assistant Internship

  • NQF Level: NQF Level 6
  • Placement Site: Central Office, Mokopane.
  • Requirements: Candidates need a Grade 12 certificate, NCV Level 4, or a Diploma, Advanced Certificate, or Occupational Certificate in Public Administration, Business Management, or Management Assistant. Successful interns will gain exposure to office administration, business support, and public sector administration functions.

Human Resources Internship

  • Placement Site: Thabazimbi Campus.
  • Requirements: Applicants should have a Grade 12 certificate, NCV Level 4, or a Diploma, Advanced Certificate, or Occupational Certificate in Human Resources. This internship will provide practical experience in recruitment support, employee administration, records management, and organizational processes.
