University of the Free State Internship Application Details 2022/2023

University of the Free State currently has 2 internship positions open for applications. Candidates must be unemployed graduates in possession of a completed degree/diploma and not currently participating in any existing learnership/internship programme. The internship will run for a period of 12 months.

The purpose of the internship programme is to offer graduates (diploma/degree) with no relevant work experience the opportunity to obtain practical workplace exposure and experience.
Responsibilities:
– Perform administrative work, such as typing and filling of documents.
– Trace information of internal traffic fines.
– Issue vehicle access disc to staff, student contractors and visitors.
– Handle cash over the counter and banking.
– Capture information into the system.
– Liaise with finance department regarding payments of traffic fines
Requirements:

Must have a completed relevant qualification
Qualifications:
A relevant bachelor’s degree.
Competencies:
– Intermediate computer skills in MS Word and Excel.
– Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail.
– Good interpersonal and communication skills.
– Ability to work within a team.
