Stellenbosch Municipality Internship Application Details 2022/2023

Stellenbosch Municipality is looking for dynamic graduates for a two-year Internal Audit Internship programme. The programme is aimed to equip graduates with internal audit and financial management skills and experience in Local Government.
NB. Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35 and residing within the Stellenbosch Municipal Area.
Duration: 2 year contract

Financial Management Interns
Stipend: R 9 000.00 pm
National Diploma or 3-year B-degree in:
- Accounting
- Finance
- Internal Audit
- Economics
- Local Government Finance
Internal Audit Interns
Stipend: Stipend: R11 000.00 pm
- B. Com degree or 3-year qualification in Internal Auditing (NQF 6)
Skills and Competencies:
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook)
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Language proficiency in at least 2 of the 3 official languages of the Western Cape (Afrikaans, English, Xhosa)
- Willingness for continuous career growth and learning.
