Trent University in Canada is currently accepting applications for its 2025 International Student Scholarship Program. International undergraduate students starting their academic year can apply for a variety of scholarships offered by the university.
Among the scholarships offered are the Trent International Global Citizen Scholarships and Awards, which are awarded to international students who demonstrate financial need, good academic performance, leadership potential, and community involvement.
Scholarship Opportunities at Trent University 2025/2026, Canada
-Trent International Program Tuition Levy Scholarship: Provided by Trent students, this annual grant is intended for students who demonstrate financial need, leadership, exceptional academic accomplishment, and community involvement.
International students who have earned an IB diploma and have shown financial need, leadership, community service, and academic success are eligible to apply for the IB Student Global Citizen Awards.
-Trent-ESL: English for University Student Scholarship: This is a revolving scholarship that is intended for overseas students who are enrolled in Trent-ESL programs. It is awarded based on financial need, leadership, community service, and academic achievement.
Scholarships from Trent University awarded to United World Colleges (UWC) alumni who demonstrate financial need, high academic success, leadership potential, and community service.
-Maple Leaf Leadership Award: A one-time prize given to children attending schools in the Maple Leaf Education System in recognition of their financial need, leadership abilities, and academic performance.

-Trent International Program Tuition Levy Scholarship: Covers international tuition and fees up to $34,000 per year, renewable for up to 4 years (total of $136,000).
-IB Student Global Citizen Awards: Provides up to $34,000 per year for tuition and fees, renewable for up to 4 years (total of $136,000).
-Trent-ESL: English for University Student Scholarship: Covers tuition and fees up to $34,000 per year for degree programs, renewable for up to 4 years (total of $136,000). ESL course fees are not covered.
Moore Family International Scholarship: Offers $12,000 per year, renewable up to $48,000 over 4 years.
-Trent-United World Colleges (UWC) Scholarships: Covers tuition and fees up to $34,000 per year, renewable for up to 4 years (total of $136,000).

Eligibility: the eligibility criteria include the following:
-You will need to fulfil the conditions of your conditional offer letter and register for courses to receive the scholarship amount.
-You must be an international student paying international fees.
-You will be studying in Canada on a study permit.
-You must have applied to an undergraduate degree program at Trent University for the Winter 2025, Summer 2025 or Fall 2025 intake. Postgraduate certificate and Master/PhD students are not eligible.
-You must meet Trent University’s Admission requirements, including general and degree-specific requirements and the English Language Proficiency Requirements. (Please note that students do not need an admission offer to apply for the scholarships and awards).
-You have a final high school average of 80% or more (Canadian Equivalent).
-You must submit a complete application through your myTrent portal before the “Apply Before Date” for each cohort.
