• For Plumbing, Bricklaying, and Motor Mechanic Apprenticeships:

• An appropriate N2 Engineering qualification with relevant trade theory.

• A SETA quality-assured technical programme equivalent to NQF Level 3.

• A relevant Engineering NC(V) Certificate.

• Technical Grade 11.

• An appropriate N6 Certificate or National Technical Diploma.

• For Diesel Mechanic Apprenticeship:

• Technical Grade 12 with Mathematics.
