Role Purpose
To provide the incumbent with the necessary skills and specific competencies regarding desktop and general IT support.
Main responsibilities
- First line support for all IT issues (Software, Connectivity/VoIP, etc)
- Assist with hardware set-up’s, upgrades, etc
- Assist with the technical support and maintenance for all branches and divisional offices within the group of companies
- General administrative work
- Assist with project work (Collaborative work, cost saving analysis, etc)
- Must be a team player
Key competencies/requirements
- Must have some knowledge regarding Office 365, OneDrive, etc (Basic Microsoft Excel skills)
- Hardware troubleshooting
- Software support (Windows, Office, Anti-Virus, etc)
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
Required minimum qualification
- Matric with relevant desktop support or studying towards an IT Diploma
- Drivers licence /own reliable transport would be beneficial
