About the Gedex Apprenticeship Programme

Gold One New Shelf 1186 (Gedex) Operations runs a gold mining site in Brakpan, about 30 kilometers east of Johannesburg. The Gold One Gedex Apprenticeships 2026 aim to train new artisans in mining and engineering trades. Participants get real-world experience underground, which builds a strong base for jobs in the industry. The program runs in Springs, Benoni, and Brakpan in Gauteng, South Africa.

Available Apprenticeship Fields

The Gold One Gedex Apprenticeships 2026 cover six trades. Here they are:

• Instrumentation: Learn to work with control systems and sensors used in mining equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• Willingness to work shifts and go underground.
