Internship Overview

The EWSETA Internship Programme runs for 24 months and focuses on practical training. It helps young people complete their qualifications and build employability in key sectors. Based in Parktown, Johannesburg, it opens doors to energy and water industry roles.

Available Internship Fields

EWSETA has openings across several areas. Each role provides support tasks and learning opportunities.

Corporate Services

  • ICT and Facilities (1 post): Help with ERP systems, ICT processes, and MIS coordination. You will aid system development and certification efforts.
  • Marketing (2 posts): Create content, run campaigns, and engage stakeholders. Join daily marketing tasks to build your skills.

Skills Delivery & Quality Assurance

  • Inter-departmental Roles (3 posts): Coordinate operations, check quality, and support program delivery. These positions build broad experience.

Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (PME)

  • Skills Planning (3 posts): Handle research, data analysis, and sector studies. Assist with monitoring and evaluation work.

Sector-Specific Administration

  • Energy Sector Administration (1 post): Coordinate energy programs with admin support.
  • Water Sector Administration (1 post): Manage admin tasks for water sector functions.

Finance Branch

  • Financial Management (1 post): Support finance admin and ensure compliance.
  • Supply Chain Management (2 posts): Help with procurement, documents, and operations.

Office of the CEO

  • Governance and Legal (1 post): Provide admin support for legal and governance tasks.

Who Should Apply?

Target applicants include university graduates, university of technology graduates, and TVET students with N6 certificates. You must be unemployed and South African. Preference goes to those who need workplace training to finish qualifications.
