Applications are invited from qualified candidates for admission into Bachelor’s degrees,  programmes tenable at the Arusha Technical College  (ATC) for the 2023/2024 academic year.

1. BACHELOR’S DEGREE PROGRAMMES

• COURSES OFFERED:

The College provides an opportunity to successful applicant to join the College in a three year course leading to the award of Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following programmes:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Irrigation Engineering
2. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Automation Engineering

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and
2. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology

   QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor degree in Civil and Irrigation Engineering
  3. Qualified applicants should be holders of Ordinary Diploma Certificate (NTA level 6) in Civil Engineering OR Civil and Irrigation Engineering OR Transportation/Highway Engineering OR Water Supply and Sanitation OR Irrigation Engineering all with at least GPA of 3.0 and at least four O-Level passes (Ds and above) and one of these passes  must be mathematics OR
  4. Qualified applicants should be a holders of Full Technician Certificate (FTC) in Civil Engineering OR Transportation/Highway Engineering OR Water Supply and Sanitation OR irrigation Engineering all with at least average of C grade (3 points) and  at least  four O’-Level passes (Ds and above) and one of these passes must be mathematics

   Bachelor degree in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering

1. Qualified applicants should be holders of Ordinary Diploma certificate (NTA level 6) in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering OR Electronics Engineering or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering all with at least GPA of

3.0 a n d at least four O’-Level passes (Ds and above) and two of these passes must be mathematics and Biology OR

1. Qualified applicants should be holders of Full Technician Certificate in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering OR Electronics Engineering or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering all with at least average of C grade (3 points) and at least four O’-Level passes (Ds and above)  and one of  these passes  must  be

    Bachelor’s degree in Electrcal and Automation Engineering

3. Qualified applicants should be holders of Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Electrical and Biomedical  Engineering,  Biomedical  Engineering,  Electronics  Engineering, Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, all with at least GPA of 0 and at least four O’-Level passes and one of these passes must be in Mathematics. OR

1. Qualified applicants should be holders of Full Technician Certificate in Electrical and Biomedical, Electronics, Biomedical, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics and Telecommunication Elor degree  in Inf ormati n Technology

1. Qualified applicants should be holders of advanced Certificate of secondary Education (ACSEE) with at least two principal passes in Physics, Mathematics, Geography,

Biology, Chemistry, Economics with total points not below 4.0 OR

3. Qualified applicants should be holders of Ordinary Diploma certificate (NTA level 6) in Computer Science OR Information Technology OR Information System OR Software Engineering OR Civil Engineering OR Civil and Irrigation Engineering OR Transportation/highway Engineering OR Water Supply and Sanitation OR irrigation Engineering OR Electrical and Biomedical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering OR Electronics Engineering Electrical and Biomedical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering OR Electronics Engineering or Electronics & Telecommunication  Engineering Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering OR Mechanical Engineering OR Automotive Engineering Electrical and Biomedical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering OR Electronics Engineering OR Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering OR Electrical Engineering OR Auto-Electrical Engineering OR Laboratory Science Technology OR Education with Science OR any other Science and Allied Technologies  all with at least GPA of 3.0 AND at least four O-Level passes (Ds and above) OR

equivalent foreign qualifications as established by either NECTA or VETA OR

Qualified applicants should be holder of Full Technician Certificate in in Computer Science OR Information Technology OR Information System OR Software Engineering OR Civil Engineering OR Civil and Irrigation Engineering OR Transportation/highway Engineering OR Water Supply and Sanitation OR irrigation Engineering OR Electrical and Biomedical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering OR Electronics Engineering Electrical and Biomedical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering OR Electronics Engineering or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering OR Mechanical Engineering OR Automotive Engineering Electrical and Biomedical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering OR Electronics Engineering OR Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering OR  Electrical Engineering OR Auto-Electrical Engineering OR Laboratory Science Technology OR Education with Science OR any other Science and  Allied Technologies all with at least GPA of 3.0 AND at least four O-Level passes (Ds and above) OR

4.SCHOLARSHIP/SPONSORSHIP

For all Programmes, qualified applicants will be admitted under private sponsorship

5. MODE OF APPLICATION

Applicant should apply through ATC Online Admission System https://www.oas.atc.ac.tz. The College will provide a helpdesk at the College to support to applicants.

MODE OF PAYMENTS:

Applicants are required to send ‘SMS’ to 0762 042717 or 0715 886695 with the following details: i). Full name of applicant

1. Telephone number

• Purpose of the payments (for this case Application Fee 2019/2020)

1. Amount to be deposited (i.e. TZS 10,000/).

 

After a short time, the applicant shall receive a ‘SMS’ with ‘CONTROL NUMBER’ which shall be used to deposit application fee to any NMB branch or CRDB branch agent  (WAKALA) all over the country. In order to fast track requests for control number, SMS should be sent from Monday to Friday (8:00am to 3:30pm).
