The management of the Arusha Technical College (ATC) invites applications from suitably qualified applicants for admissions into ATC Undergraduate, Bachelor Degree, Ordinary Diploma, Certificate, Short Courses, and other programmes for the 2023/2024 academic year.
ATC Undergraduate admission application form 2023/2024 is open to all interested applicants irrespective of colour, race, ethnic identity, religion, gender or national origin, provided they qualify for the programme for which they have applied.
Both Tanzanian and non-Tanzanian interested applicants can apply for the Arusha Technical College Undergraduate Admission 2023/2024 as Government Sponsored or Private candidates provided he/she met the minimum requirements for the specific program.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR BACHELOR DEGREE PROGRAMMES
COURSES OFFERED
The College provides an opportunity to successful applicant to join the College in a three-year course leading to Bachelor Degree in one of the following programmes:
1.Civil and Irrigation Engineering
2.Electrical and Biomedical Engineering
3.Information Technology
4.Computer Science
QUALIFICATIONS
1.1 Bachelor of Engineering in Civil and Irrigation Engineering (B.ENG. CIE)
Holders of Ordinary Diploma (NTA level 6) in Civil Engineering OR Civil and Irrigation Engineering OR Transportation/highway Engineering OR Water Supply and Sanitation OR irrigation Engineering all with at least GPA of 3.0 and at least four O’- Level passes (Ds and above) and one of these passes must be mathematics OR Holders of Full Technician Certificate (FTC) in Civil Engineering OR Transportation/Highway Engineering OR Water Supply and Sanitation OR irrigation Engineering all with at least average of C grade (3 points) and at least four O’-Level passes (Ds and above) and one of these passes must be mathematics.
2.1 Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering (B.ENG. EBE)
Holders of Ordinary Diploma (NTA level 6) in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering OR Electronics Engineering or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering all with at least GPA of 3.0 and at least four O’-Level passes (Ds and above) and two of these passes must be mathematics and Biology
3.1 Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT)
3.1.1 Entry Requirements(Form Six)
At least two principal passes in Physics, Mathematics, Geography, Biology, Chemistry, Economics with total points not below 4.0 obtained from the scoring: A = 5, B = 4, C=3, D=2, E=1, S=0.5 or any other scoring recognized by TCU
3.1.2 Entry Requirements-Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6)
At least four O’-Level passes (Ds and above) OR NVA Level III with not less than four O’-Level passes OR equivalent foreign qualifications as established by either NECTA OR VETA; AND i) At least a GPA of 3.0 for Ordinary Diploma in Science and Allied Technologies (NTA Level 6); OR ii) Average of B for Full Technician Certificate (FTC) in Science and Allied Technologies (where A=5, B=4, C=3,and D=2 points)
4.1 Bachelor of Computer Science(BCS)
4.1.1Entry Requirements(Form Six)
At least two principal passes in Physics, Mathematics, Geography, Biology, Chemistry, Economics with total points not below 4.0 obtained from the scoring: A = 5, B = 4, C=3, D=2, E=1, S=0.5 or any other scoring recognized by TCU
4.1.2Entry Requirements-Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6)
At least four O’-Level passes (Ds and above) OR NVA Level III with not less than four O’-Level passes OR equivalent foreign qualifications as established by either NECTA OR VETA; AND i) At least a GPA of 3.0 for Ordinary Diploma in Science and Allied Technologies (NTA Level 6); OR ii) Average of B for Full Technician Certificate (FTC) in Science and Allied Technologies (where A=5, B=4, C=3,and D=2 points)
SCHOLARSHIP/SPONSORSHIP
For all Programmes, qualified applicants will be admitted under private sponsorship

Applicant aspiring to apply for Ordinary Diploma and Basic Technician Certificate Programmes offered by Arusha Technical College should apply through College Online Admission System https://www.oas.atc.ac.tz
The college will provide a helpdesk for support to all applicants wish to join ATC on how to apply through the College Online system.
Note – Once the Arusha Technical College Undergraduate Admission Application Form Portal is closed, new applications will not be submitted. So register now while the ATC Undergraduate form 2023/2024 is on sale.
