This is to inform the general public that the management of the University of Dodoma UDOM has announced the official graduation date, gown collection date, fees, event programs as well as the list of graduands for the UDOM graduation ceremony 2023 academic year.
About University of Dodoma UDOM Graduation Ceremony 2023
Graduation is one of the most important occasions in the University of Dodoma UDOM academic calendar 2023 where students, both undergraduate and postgraduate, receive their hard-earned degrees and diplomas. Indeed, graduation marks the culmination of many years of personal sacrifice and hard work that have laid the foundation for successful and inspiring careers.
At the University of Dodoma UDOM graduation, Honorary Degrees are also conferred to distinguished individuals who have made significant contributions to society, both in Tanzania and at a global level.
Graduation is getting a diploma or academic degree or the ceremony that is sometimes associated with it, in which students become graduates. Before graduation, candidates are referred to as graduands. The date of graduation is often called graduation day.
The graduation ceremony itself is also called commencement, convocation, or invocation. Normally, the ceremony and name apply to high school and above (the next ascending levels being Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate)
Students who are eligible to graduate will receive official invitations to their graduation ceremonies containing details of their ceremony, how to get a gown, and how to organize for photographs
Graduands will be issued with graduation gowns at their respective student’s faculty office on the week of graduation. All graduation regalia must be returned in time and those returned after the deadline shall attract a penalty fee.

The office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor – Academic, Research and Consultancy is hereby announcing to all eligible 2023 graduands to verify
their names for the 11th graduation.
The list has been published after approval of special/supplementary examinations by the University Senate. Graduands who do not appear in the list should register their concerns before 9th December, 2023 to the University Bureau of Senate and Examinations (UBSE) through the cellphone numbers listed below and email
