NW Dept of Transport Learnerships Programme Application Details 2022/2023

Interested applicants can apply for the NW Dept of Transport Learnership 2022 provided they qualify and meet the program requirements.

The Department Community of Safety and Transport Management Invites applications to capacitate unemployed youth on Examiners of Drivers License and Motor Vehicle Learnership Programme. Details of the Learnership Programme are as follows: Grade A & Grade B.

Requirements 

  • Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 & not older than 35 years
  • Grade 12 Certificate / National Certificate (vocational)
  • Security Clearance from SAPS
  • Code EC Driving License / Code 14+ A Driving License Motorcycle
  • Proof of Residence

A monthly stipend of R3 000.00 per month will be offered for the duration of six(6) months until the end of the Programme, as stipulated in terms of the DPSA’s guide on Intern and Learnership Programmes

NB. Learners who have previously been in a Learnership programme in the Public Service will not be considered. 

Please note

  • Applications must be accompanied by a signed Z83 form (Download Here), a recently updated comprehensive CV with the names of three referees, originally certified copies of Grade 12, a ID-document, required Driving License, and Security Clearance from SAPS. Failure to submit the requested documents will result in the application not being considered.
  • All qualifications will be verified. Persons in possession of a foreign qualification must furnish this Department with an evaluation certificate from the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
  • Candidates must indicate the reference number on their applications,
  • Applications should be forwarded in time to the department since applications received after the closing date indicated below will as a rule not be accepted. Faxed and emailed applications are not accepted.
  • It will be expected of candidates to be available for selection interviews on a date, time, and place as determined by the Department. (1) The Department reserves the right not to make appointments.
  • Previous employment records will be verified. All appointments are subjected to positive qualifications verifications as well as security clearance and vetting
  • If you have not been contacted within 3 months after the closing date, consider your application unsuccessful
