Mzumbe University Postgraduate March Intake Form 2023/2024, Programmes (Courses Offered), Requirements and Application Deadline.
The Mzumbe University invites applications for Postgraduate programmes that are offered at Dar Es Salaam Campus College (DCC) for the March intake window from suitably qualified candidates for the 2023/2024 academic year.
The Dar es Salaam Campus College offers day, evening and executive mode classes. Executive mode is for Masters of Business and Public Administration programmes only.
March intake window is now open and qualified applicants can start applying to join Mzumbe University – Dar es Salaam Campus College. Classes will commence on 19th April, 2021. Deadline for application is 30th March, 2021.
MASTER’S DEGREE PROGRAMMES OFFERED AT DAR ES SALAAM CAMPUS MARCH INTAKE WINDOW;
1. Master of Public Administration (MPA)
2. Master of Business Administration in Corporate Management (MBA-CM)
3. Master of Science in Marketing Management (MSc. MM)
4. Master of Leadership and Management (MLM)
5. Master of Science in Applied Economics and Business (MAEB)
6. Executive Master of Business Administration
7. Executive Master of Public Administration
PROGRAMME INFORMATION
The duration of most of our Masters programmes is 18 months: twelve months of coursework to be run in two semesters, and a minimum of six months for dissertation/project work.
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
A candidate seeking admission into our Master’s degrees shall hold at least a second class Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution of higher learning or upper second class Advanced Diploma or equivalent qualifications obtained in at least three (3) years of study or a professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA (T), MD, CSP, MCIPS or their equivalents from recognized professional bodies or institutions. Applicants with PASS (i.e those who obtained
third class in the first degree) will also be considered upon producing evidence of having obtained an examined Postgraduate Diploma or professional qualification (in a relevant field of study).
A candidate who holds an unclassified or foreign degree (degree obtained outside Tanzania) should have an average credit of “B” or above and have his/her academic qualifications certified/validated by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR SPECIFIC PROGRAMME
Applicants for MSc. MM must have studied marketing-related subjects at Bachelor’s
degree or Post-Graduate Diploma level.
MODE OF APPLICATION
a. Applicants are required to complete their applications online by visiting the admissions website www.admission.mzumbe.ac.tz. All referees shall be persons who are academically familiar with the applicant, either as his/her undergraduate tutor/lecturer, research supervisor or one of them could be a professional associate (immediate manager or employer) for those employed, but NOT relatives or just friends. Applicants are required to ask for referees’ emails which will be inserted in the reference section in the application system. It is important
to contact the referee to obtain consent before using his/her e-mail address.
b. Application to all of the above postgraduate programmes must be accompanied by a nonrefundable application fee of TZS. 30,000/= (for local applicants or USD 30 (for international/foreign applicants).
c. All applications must be accompanied by certified copies of relevant academic and nonacademic certificates including birth certificate or National Identity.
