MMI Health, in partnership with INSETA (Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority), is offering young South Africans a fantastic learning opportunity in the Financial Services Industry. The Internship Programme offers participants the opportunity to develop their skills and to gain exposure within a Call Centre environment. This programme is aimed at dynamic, focused individuals who are able to provide an effective and efficient service to clients by receiving, evaluating and responding to telephonic/electronic enquiries timeously. The internship is within Momentum Health based at the Cape Town office.

WHAT YOU’RE GOING TO DO

  • Identifying risks to the company and escalate accordingly.
  • Engaging in effective communication and delivery according to Service Level Agreements.
  • Be a consistent service delivery to ensure client retention and satisfaction.
  • Obtaining and maintaining broad product and industry knowledge in order to effectively and accurately respond to customer queries.
  • Service Level Agreements are met and exceeded at all times.
  • Providing first time resolution on queries of a complex nature.
  • Dealing promptly with client requests in a competent, efficient and professional manner.
  • Driving and supporting effective teamwork within the department.
  • Engaging in appropriate training interventions to promote own professional development.
  • Ensuring to demonstrate the company’s values on a daily basis.
  • Recording of all queries and interactions with customers onto the workflow system.
  • To ensure the required turnaround time is met.
  • To ensure that all correspondence sent out is of the highest quality.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Be aged between 18 and 25 years.
  • Be able to speak, read and write English.
  • Fluency in an African language will be advantageous.
  • Be computer literate.
  • Currently unemployed or no work experience.
  • Not be studying at any other institution.
  • Not be registered for any other learnership.
  • Have a clean criminal and credit record.
  • South African citizens only.
  • Must be able to start 1 February 2019.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passed Matric (a pass in mathematics, maths literacy or accounting will be beneficial)
  • Must have also completed a 1 year qualification/certificate OR completed 1 year of tertiary education but could not study further due to financial/personal reasons.
