As a Robotics Process Automation (RPA) Intern, you will be part of a dynamic team working on exciting projects that are dramatically changing the way the Maitland Group does business.
You will be responsible for all aspects of designing, documenting, building (coding), testing and deploying software robots, using the industry leading UI Path technology. The role requires that you actively engage with the both the business and ICT in order to ensure that high quality robots only are delivered.
In addition, Maitland will support you in gaining UI Path training and certifications.
Minimum Requirements
The ideal candidate should have or be in the process of obtaining:
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science / B.Com Information Systems / B.Sc Honours degree with an active interest in programming / Engineering / Finance or related field.
- Programming knowledge or certification
- Preference knowledge and experience in C#, .Net, SQL Server
- Proficient IT skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Understanding of relational databases.
- Knowledge and or experience with writing SQL queries.
- Knowledge of Process Analysis / Requirement gathering skills
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform complex automation processes.
- Support the assessment of the data including data validation and profiling.
- Configuration of UI Path process components, including process flows, control objects, exception handling etc.
- Write & maintain data process flows
- Assistance with data conversion and interfacing activities.
- Providing architectural control over solution designs to ensure consistency and continuity across the company’s delivery teams.
- Identifying new process opportunities and accurately analysing and estimating new processes, quickly assessing feasibility.
- Analysing, understanding and documenting the business processes in detail where required.
- Creating and maintaining solution documentation.
- Working within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager accordingly and providing inputs to the change control process.
- Creating and documenting test procedures and scenarios for the pre-UAT phases
- Supporting the Operational Teams during the UAT and rollout phases
