An opportunity has presented itself to appoint a suitably qualified candidate into the position of Intern Data Analyst. This position is based at Lancet Head Office- Richmond and will be reporting into the Management Accountant.

POSITION SUMMARY: Analyse data and provide administrative support to the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Data analysis of operational and financial results for the department and provides report to management
- Assist with cost benefit analysis to assist management in decision making
- Assist with forecasts for future conditions using multiple scenarios
- Create financial models using electronic spread sheets
- Create PowerPoint presentations summarizing the results of analysis and present the results to senior management
- Assists to construct data accumulation systems for a cost accounting system to ensure that operating decision making is spotted by financial data
- Conduct on-going process constraint analysis
- Report on breakeven points by products, work centers, and entities, margins by product and entity, periodic variances and their causes, focusing, in particular on spending variances
- Attend to queries and ensure prompt and efficient responses to guarantee customer satisfaction at all time
- Assist with QA requirements, including preparation of department audits, updating of QA and WI documents, training logs to ensure compliance to all QA standards.
- Carriers out administrative duties for the department to ensure the smooth running of the department (i.e general office admin, travel arrangements, diary management, managing petty cash etc.)
- Carry out adhoc duties and special projects as requested by the Management Team to ensure the smooth operations of the department.
