KIST Fees Structure

The Karume Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) school fees structure 2023/2024 for Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Ordinary Diploma, Certificate Programmes students have been released by the management for first 1st and second 2nd-semester academic year of 2023/2024. 

KIST selected candidates 2023/2024 will be required to pay tuition and other fees by the beginning of the semester before they can be permitted to use the University facilities including registration.

The following policies and procedures are applicable to all students who officially register for programmes at the Karume Institute of Science and Technology. The Institute reserves the right to change fees without prior notice. However, fee changes are subject to approval by the Governing Council and we will update it ASAP.

Fees and other Financial Requirements

**Government-sponsored students contribution

  1. Admission becomes effective only on full payment of the required fees
  2. Fees may be paid direct to the Bank account: People’s Bank of Zanzibar Ltd.(PBZ), Account name: Karume Institute of Science and Technology; Account No. 021 103 000 632.At least 75% of the total fees to be paid in advance and the remaining should be paid before the 2nd Semester’s examinations starts; Under any circumstances fees once paid, in full or in instalment will not be refunded;A student can register academic year to a specific module or modules at the half tuition fees. Other fees will remain for all students
  3. Candidates must obtain and safely keep the official receipts of all payments and produce them when required by the office for any verification.
