Kenyatta University (KU) Admission Lists 2025/2026 | Check Here
The admission lists are the published lists of applicants who have been offered provisional admission to Kenyatta University for the 2025/2026 academic year. They cover different categories: government-sponsored (KUCCPS), self-sponsored (private), TVET/KNEC transfers, diploma/upgrading, postgraduate (master’s/PhD), international students, and occasional special schemes.
How to check your admission status (step-by-step)
A. If you were placed through KUCCPS (government placement)
-
Go to the KU admission letters page / KUCCPS student portal (KU maintains a dedicated page where KUCCPS students download letters).
-
Enter your KCSE index number exactly in the required format (examples on the portal show format like
XXXXXXXXXX/2024) and search. The portal will show if you have been offered a place and allow you to download the admission letter and joining instructions. admissionletters.ku.ac.ke
B. If you applied directly to KU (self-sponsored / private applicants)
-
Check the KU Admissions portal and your email (KU often notifies direct applicants by email and by portal).
-
Self-sponsored offers usually also allow downloading an admission or offer letter stating payment/registration instructions.
C. Postgraduate applicants (Master’s / PhD / Postgrad diplomas)
-
KU sends official admission letters via the admissions portal and by email; check the KU Admissions webpage for specific faculty/department instructions and reporting/registration dates.
D. International applicants
-
Follow the International Students area on the KU admissions site (visa guidance, authentication, fees); admissions letters for international students include immigration/clearance steps.
