The Marketing Intern will directly assist the Executive Assistant with the following:
- Preparation of marketing related proposals for the attention of the CEO/clients & EXCO
- Preparation and administration of events that the business participates in
- Research of marketing trends and any other administrative duties

Key Responsibilities
Social Media
- Assist with social media engagement by helping manage iX engineers’s social channels
- Drafting and editing copy for social channels
- Monitoring social media web analytics on a weekly basis (e.g. page views, twitter followers), and provide reports of growth and other activity
Marketing/advertising
- Engaging with the Executive Assistant & CEO/EXCO on a regular basis to brainstorm ideas for new and innovative marketing and social media campaigns
- Assist with gathering data for marketing reports and supporting a variety of marketing and advertising programs
Ad Hoc
- Researching industry-specific sites (blogs, forums, etc) for product reviews, customer comments, and other relevant marketing information
- Maintaining marketing program files
- Work with Executive Assistant & CEO/EXCO to help organize events
Education
- Matric
- BA in Marketing or similar relevant field
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and e-mail writing
