Gold Leaf Tobacco Corporation Learnership programme

Gold Leaf Tobacco Corporation based in Linbro pork is seeking to employ learners who will assist and work in a tobacco processing factory. Learners will be trained and developed on the job and may be required to work shifts and overtime where necessary. Practical on the job training will be combined with theoretical learning and testing to ensure employees gain valuable knowledge and experience that will develop their skills and create better employment opportunities in the future.

Stipend of : R3500-00 plus overtime will be allocated for this role. Learners will have to prove themselves and complete the Learnership program in order to be considered for permanent employment. Learners will work closely with operators and technicians on the production floor to gain an understanding of the company processes, machines and product. This will include tasks such as packing, storing, cleaning and working on machinery under the supervision of a machine operator or technician.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 12.
  • Must be willing to work day or night shifts.
  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • between the ages of 18-25 years who are looking for first time employment will be given preference.
  • Preference will be given to prospective candidates who have also completed a Mechanical related certificate N3 / N4.
