Internship Overview
The Council for Geoscience (CGS) has three openings for HR interns at their Pretoria Head Office. The program lasts 24 months and pays a stipend of R13,000 per month. Interns report to the HR Manager and gain exposure to HR administration, recruitment, employee relations, and training.

Key Responsibilities
Interns will support various HR tasks. Here are the main duties:
Recruitment Support

Assist with payroll and employee benefits. Maintain HR records and databases. File documents and organize meetings or HR events.
Learning and Development

Employee Relations

Project Support

Minimum Requirements
You need a Grade 12 certificate. A National Diploma at NQF Level 6 in Human Resources Management, Human Resources Development, or a related field is required. No prior work experience is needed.
Basic knowledge of these laws helps:

- Employment Equity Act (EEA)
- Skills Development Act (SDA)
Required Skills and Attributes
Strong organization and deadline skills are key. Good communication, analytical thinking, and attention to detail matter. Be computer literate with MS Office and have solid interpersonal skills. Show a willingness to learn.
