BAT Internship Application Details 2026/2027

Job purpose:

Joining British American Tobacco (BAT) in our Operations Department you will be exposed to different trainings and activities that will consolidate the knowledge and skills aquired during your college years.

Exposure to:

• Machine and cabinet wiring and creation of electrical diagrams on E-Plan (Software for electrical circuit design)
• Training in Mechanical design work using Solid Edge (3D modeling software) – detail design, detail 2D drawings and creating Spare part catalogues.
• Training on pneumatic controls and understanding of pneumatic diagrams
• Hand skills, like drilling holes, tapping threads, using hacksaw and files.
• Involved in building machines, using machine catalogues and training to fit bearings and gears

Requirements:

• Diploma in relevant field
• Passing of final exams
• Previous technical internships or projects are a major plus.
