The bursary does not fund Master’s or PhD students. It also excludes studies in Medical Sciences and Economic Sciences. Applicants with a household income above R630,000 per year or those already receiving another bursary for 2027 will not qualify. Other eligibility criteria related to citizenship, gender, BBBEE status, and academic performance must also be met.
