The management of the Al-Maktoum College of Engineering and Technology (AMCET) has released the minimum entry requirements and admission regulation for successful admission into the AMCET undergraduate and postgraduate (Degree, PhD, Masters, Diploma, Certificate, Short Course and Non-Degree) programmes respectively for the 2023/2024 academic year.
Interested candidates may apply to any of the Al-Maktoum College of Engineering and Technology Courses at any time and be admitted subject to fulfilling AMCET admission entry requirements for the 2023/2024 academic year.

The pass in Mathematics and Physics are compulsory. Also, a holder of NVA Level II certificate in related courses from VETA with a certificate of Secondary education with a minimum pass of two “D” Grades, OR a holder of NVA Level III certificate in related courses from VETA with a Certificate of Secondary Education | NTA Level 4 programme and obtained a Pass in relevant course. Information System and Networking Technology(ISNT) | Certificate of Secondary Education with a minimum average pass of four “D” Grades in Mathematics, Physics, English, Geography, Chemistry or Biology. A pass in Mathematics is compulsory. Also, a holder of National Vocational Awards (NVA) Level II certificate from Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) with a certificate of Secondary education with a minimum pass of two “D” Grades, or a holder of NVA Level III certificate from VETA with a Certificate of Secondary Education | NTA Level 4 in ISNT, IT, Computer Science programmes and obtained a Pass. Also candidates that have completed Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) and obtained minimum pass of one (1) principal pass and one (1) subsidiary pass in either Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economics or Advanced mathematics. |

NOTE: Applicants must;
- Give full particulars of citizenship (including a copy of birth certificates) and enclose photocopies of relevant academic certificates and other relevant documents as demanded.
- Pay a non refundable application fee of Tshs. 10,000/ for Tanzanians and USD 20 for foreigners. All fees must be paid through the College’s Bank Account, Account Name: AL-MAKTOUM COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING; Account No.: 049137000070; NBC BANK.
- Prospective students are required to bring with them original transcripts of grades from each school attended, copies of certificates received and other relevant documents as declared in the application forms. Legal action will be taken against any applicant who presents forged documents.
Evidence of credible sources of funding is a condition for admission and registration for studies at Al-Maktoum College of Engineering and Technology. Such evidence must be made before or at the time of registration.
Admission to the college is conditional upon presentation of satisfactory medical report received by the College.
All students if admitted are required to abide absolutely by the College regulations. Failure to do so may lead to suspension or denial of access to the College facilities.
