AFGRI Equipment has 40 spots open for this contract apprenticeship. It lasts 3 years, with a possible extension to 4 years. The pay follows market rates. The program reference number is AO-2345.
The training prepares you for jobs in mechanical and engineering fields. It starts with a 6-month probation period where both you and the company check if it’s a good fit. AgriSETA and MerSETA back the program.
Training Programme Details
After probation, your training includes practical sessions at workshops or institutes. You will also do distance learning at a college and attend Saturday classes if needed. AFGRI specialists and suppliers provide product training, plus internal technical sessions.
The training is free if you finish it successfully. But if you fail modules, you pay to repeat them. You must complete a work-back period after training. Leaving early might mean repaying costs. The full contract runs no more than 4 years.
