Umgeni Water Internship Application Details 2022/2023

Interested applicants can apply for the Umgeni Water Internship 2022 provided they qualify and meet the program requirements.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to sex, race, color, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, protected veteran status, disability, or other protected status.

Umgeni Water offers a twenty-four (24) months Internship Programme under the below mentioned fields. Applicants are invited from unemployed Graduates/Diplomats residing in KwaZulu-Natal province to gain practical work experience in the following operations in the Organisation.

Company Secretarial Intern

  • Diploma / Degree in: Office Management Technology

Supply Chain Management Intern

  • Diploma / Degree in: Supply Chain Management

Givil Engineering Intern

  • Diploma / Degree in: Civil Engineering

Hydrology Intern

Ref No: BSCHYDR2022

  • Diploma / Degree in: Hydrology

Legal​​​​​​​ Intern

Ref No: LLB2022

  • Bachelor of Law
  • Must be an admitted attorney aspiring to be a Company Secretary, Legal Advisor or Compliance Offers

Requirements:

  • An appropriate 3 year tertiary qualification, Degree / Diploma relevant to the above-mentioned fields.
  • An applicant must be unemployed and provide an affidavit of being unemployed signed by the commissioner of oath.
  • Applicants must be South Africa citizen residing in KwaZulu-Natal.
  • First preference will be given to applicants who are permanent residence of the identified local municipalities,
  • The programme is strictly targeting unemployed youth.

NB. Interns who have participated in another internship programme before will not be considered in this programme.
