UJ Fees Structure 2025
UJ Tuition Fees include all the amounts that are payable for you to study and graduate on time. Undergraduate students need to note that tuition fees differ between the faculties at the University of Johannesburg (UJ).
For postgraduate, Master’s, Honours, and Doctorate students: as a returning student, your fees may look quite different from that of an undergraduate student.

UJ Fees Payment Method
For your convenience, we provide a variety of different payment methods. The following table details ways to pay, payment channels, plus refund and other information. In the case of electronic transfers, please ensure that the reference field is completed correctly.
N/B – Payments made over weekends will only appear the next working day, only once appearing in the school account will the hold be lifted automatically.
Fees may be paid using the following methods:

- Debit or Credit Card Payments via the Student Portal. (Immediate reflection on the Student Fee Account)
- Direct bank payment. (Immediate reflection on the Student Fee Account)
- EFT payments. (24 24-hour delay for reflection on Student Fee Account)
