SA National Parks Internship Application Details 2022/2023
Interested applicants can apply for the SA National Parks Internship 2022 provided they qualify and meet the program requirements.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to sex, race, color, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, protected veteran status, disability, or other protected status.
The Cape Region National Parks are currently offering Internship opportunities to qualified graduates. Applicants must be unemployed South African citizens in possession of a completed qualification in one of the fields mentioned below and must not have participated in any internship programme in the past. Applicants who apply without a completed or relevant qualification will not be considered. The programme will run for a period of 12 months starting from 1 Apr’18 – 31 Mar’19 with a monthly stipend of R5 000.00.
This internships are designed to empower young graduates by offering them a platform to gain practical work experience to help kick-start their careers. Successful graduates will have the opportunity to learn and experience under the supervision of well experienced professionals. Graduates will be placed at different parks depending on the internship they apply for. i.e
Conservation Intern – Agulhas Nat. Park (Accommodation is available) – 1 position
Conservation Intern – Tankwa Karoo Nat. Park (Accommodation is available) – 2 positions
Conservation Intern – West Coast Nat. Park (Accommodation is available) – 1 position
Quantity Surveying or Project Management or Construction Management Intern – Special Projects Unit: Kuilsriver (Accommodation is not available) – 1 position

– Must have a completed qualification
– Must be South African
– Must have not attended any internship programme before.
Qualifications:
Matric/Grade 12
Completed relevant qualification for the internship you’re applying for
You must submit your application letter stating the preferred Park for placement, accompanied by a typed CV, certified copies of Qualification/s and certified ID copy, Driver’s Licence and SARS registration document.
