The Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone Company is inviting students from the King Cetshwayo District, in KwaZulu-Natal, to apply for a bursary award. Bursaries are available for exceptional learners through RBIDZ’s Study Assistance programme.

- Mechatronics Engineering,
- Geographic Information System (GIS ),
- Metallurgical and Marine
- Agricultural Economics and Extension
- Economics,
- Accounting,
- Actuarial Science
- Information Technology
Requirements
- Grade 12 passed with level 5 for English, Mathematics, Life Science, Accounting, Economics
- You must be a South African citizen
- You must reside within the King Cetshwayo District, KwaZulu-Natal
- You must be accepted to study at a University or University of Technology in South Africa
- You must be accepted to study full-time within one of the aforementioned fields of study
- You must be from a from previously disadvantaged background
NB. Applications will be assessed on both academic merit and financial need. Depending on your performance , you may be selected for an assessment programme. Acceptance into the RBIDZ Bursary Scheme is dependent on a successful interview . The bursary is renewable on an annual basis dependent on the bursar’s academic performance and conduct .
