The HR Intern will be playing an assistance role to the the Lead HR Business Partner and this opportunity will help you to gain valuable experience and skills in the HR field for your career advancement within the HR field.
Key Areas of Delivery (inter-alia) includes but is not limited to:
- Assist in maintaining HR records (electronic and otherwise)
- Assist with recruitment and selection activities
- Photo-copying, filing, calls and emails as required
- Provide HR Training support
- Keeping track of provident fund claims
- Maintain customer satisfaction & properly handle customer requests through responsiveness, follow-up, and escalation
- Sort incoming CV’s and logs them into appropriate database
- Contract extensions, letters of termination, letters of employment
- Complete and mail out offer letters & letters of regret
- Formulate warnings
- Attend disciplinary enquiries
- Assist in the resolution of grievances
- Assist in HR administration such as in the formulation, updating & maintanece of Company HR policies
- Form time to time be expected to perform duties not in their job description
Requirements:
- Matric with a Diploma or studying towards HR
- Degree in Human Resources/Industrial Psychology would be ideal
- Computer Literate-Microsoft Excel, Word & Powerpoint
- Must have own transport
- Ideally from JHB South
- Be able to apply theory to practice
