Pepkor Lifestyle runs major retail brands like HiFi Corporation, Incredible Connection, Bradlows, Russells, Rochester, and Sleepmasters. The program teaches practical retail and workplace skills. It lasts 12 months and receives funding from the Wholesale & Retail SETA. South African youth without jobs can apply to gain experience in the retail world.
What You Will Learn
Learners get training in key areas of retail work. You will practice customer service on the shop floor. The program covers marketing and merchandising basics. It also includes simple English and math skills, plus how to use Point of Sale systems. Other topics are stock control, loss prevention, opening customer accounts, and understanding the retail setting.
Minimum Requirements
