What the Internship Offers

Programme Duration and Location
The internship programme will run for a period of 24 months, starting on 01 April 2027 and concluding on 31 March 2029. Internships are located across various provinces in South Africa, including Gauteng (Midrand, Pretoria, Johannesburg), Western Cape (Cape Town), Free State (Bloemfontein), Mpumalanga (Mbombela, Middelburg), and Northern Cape (Kimberley).
Applicants applying for positions outside their residential area must be prepared to cover their own accommodation and transportation costs. The OCJ will not provide these.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for the OCJ Graduate Internship Programme, applicants must meet the following general requirements:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be an unemployed graduate.
- Must not have previously participated in an internship programme.
- Possess a relevant three-year National Diploma at NQF Level 6 with 360 credits recognised by SAQA, or an LLB Degree at NQF Level 8 with 480 credits for legal positions.
- Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by SAQA.
