Available Apprenticeship Trades

New Age Engineering Solutions is looking for enthusiastic individuals to fill the following apprenticeship roles:

Boilermaker

Boilermakers are skilled tradespeople who fabricate, assemble, and install boilers, tanks, and other large vessels made from metal. This role requires precision and a strong understanding of metalworking techniques.

Welder

Welders join metal parts together using heat and specialized equipment. This trade is essential in many industries, from construction to manufacturing, and requires a keen eye for detail and safety.

Pipe Fitter

Pipe fitters install and repair piping systems that carry water, steam, air, or other substances. They work with various materials and must ensure that systems are leak-proof and function correctly.

Minimum Requirements for Applicants

To be considered for the New Age Engineering Solutions Apprenticeship Programme, you must meet at least one of the following educational qualifications:

  • Technical Grade 12: You must have completed Grade 12 with Mathematics as a subject.
  • N2 Engineering Certificate: A full N2 Engineering Certificate, which includes Mathematics, Engineering Science, and two other relevant subjects, is acceptable.
  • SETA-Quality Assured Programme: Completion of a technical trade theory program that has been quality assured by a SETA and is considered equivalent to NQF Level 3.
  • Engineering NC(V) Certificate: A relevant Engineering National Certificate (Vocational) with seven subjects at NQF Level 3.
  • Technical Grade 11: If you are currently in Grade 11, you can apply if you have Mathematics, Science, a Language subject, and the related trade theory subject.

  • Certified Copy of South African ID: A clear, certified copy of your green bar-coded ID book or ID card.
  • Certified Copies of Qualifications: Include certified copies of your Grade 12 certificate, N2 certificate, or any other relevant diplomas or certificates.
  • Proof of Residential Address: A document confirming your current place of residence.
