How To Collect Your R350 Grant
To collect your Sassa grant at Shoprite or other participating supermarkets, you must have your ID and the registered cellphone number you used when applying for your grant. Present these at the till point. The cashier will use this information to verify your identity and confirm that your grant is available for collection.
As an additional security measure, you’ll receive a one-time PIN (OTP) on your registered cellphone number. This unique code is sent to you to ensure that you are the authorised recipient of the grant. Once you receive the OTP, approve it on your phone. After approval, you’ll be able to collect your grant cash.
Sassa cautions R350 grant beneficiaries against sharing their personal information with strangers. Beneficiaries will never be asked to enter personal information on their cell phones or click on any links during the collection process.
