Internship opportunity for persons wanting a career in the following Career paths: –
System Support (4 Interns)
- Matric with mathematics and English
- 3 year tertiary qualification in IT (completed)
- CompTIA A+ and N+
Service Desk (4 Interns)
- Matric with mathematics and English
- 3 year tertiary qualification in IT (completed)
- MCSA will be an advantage
The learning entry level requirement should be applicable for access into these qualifications
- Learners should be in possession of a three-year tertiary qualification in IT (preferable relevant to system support); or
- National Certificate at NQF Level 5 (System Support will be advantageous);
- Learning assumed to be in place: It is assumed that the learner is competent in skills gained at the further education and training band, with exposure to computing as a requirement. A learning assumption of this qualification is foundational skills in English and Mathematics at NQF level 4;
- Further learning assumed is the ability to use a personal computer;
- Recruit and select Interns according to MICT Seta approved entry requirements and ensure that 85% are blacks, 54% are females, 15% Whites and 4% are disabled;
- Ages between 18-35;
- South African Citizen ;
