Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet all these standards. First, hold a Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics or Accounting. You need a valid Code 8 or Code 10 driver’s licence. Be a South African citizen, unemployed, aged 18 to 35, and live in eThekwini Municipality with proof. No prior similar programs allowed.

What You Will Learn

Learners handle municipal finance systems, revenue and billing processes, data verification, reporting, customer account reconciliation, compliance, documentation, and administrative workflows. They also build communication, teamwork, time management, problem-solving, and professional conduct skills for government work.

Driver’s Licence Requirement

A driver’s licence is required. The Meter Readings Division needs field work, so you must drive for service delivery tasks.
