Description
As part of youth development, the Department of Correctional Services invites youth (18-35) who are eligible to study at the registered higher learning institutions in the following fields of study.

Painter/ Welder/ Boilermaker/ Locksmith/ Automotive Motor Mechanic
Qualifications:
- Human Resource Management (National Diploma/Degree)
- Psychology (Masters)
- Criminology (National Diploma/Degree)
- Agriculture (National Diploma/Degree)
- Food Services (National Diploma/Degree)
- Security Management (National Diploma/Degree)
- Finance & Logistics (National Diploma/Degree)
- Penology / Correctional Services (National Diploma/Degree)
Bursary Requirements:
Candidates applying for the bursary must adhere to the following:
- Be a South African citizen
- Hold a valid South African ID document
- Have Grade 12/NCV certificate at NQF level 4
- Provide proof of acceptance from a registered learning institution
Documentation To Be Certified And Attached To The Application:
- Candidates valid ID document
- Candidate’s academic record
- Grade 12/NCV certificates at NQFlevel 4
- Acceptance letter from a learning institution
- Course curriculum and Course fee
Applicants must be prepared to enter into an agreement with the Department of Correctional Services.
