- Human Resources x 1
- Marketing x 1
- Finance x 1
The interns will have the opportunity to learn in all facets of the department’s daily routines and procedures.
The successful candidate’s tasks and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Human Resources Intern
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Administration:
- Draft advertisements;
- Place advertisements;
- Sifting through CV’s;
- Arrange all logistics for recruitment;
- Compile interview packs;
- Draft interview reports;
- Create and maintain recruitment files;
- Pre-employment checks:
- Draft offer of employment letters;
- Draft employment contracts.
- Induction:
- Arrange and coordinate induction training for new employees.
- General administration and record keeping:
- Draft all letters to staff;
- Maintain electronic employee records;
- Draft monthly HR newsletter.
Finance Intern
Key Responsibilities:
- Creditors Administration:
- Verify the correctness of all creditor-related documents;
- Follow-up of invoices / statements not received;
- Reconcile remittances and invoices;
- Process creditors invoices;
- Reconcile creditors account and resolve queries;
- Ensure creditors invoices are approved in line with the Group Approval framework and submitted for payment;
- Banking and Payment Administration:
- Daily banking and payment processing;
- Maintain electronic filing system.
Marketing Intern
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the marketing team with daily administrative tasks;
- Assist in marketing activities;
- Prepare marketing presentation;
- Assist with coordinating marketing initiatives;
- Maintain electronic filing system;
- General marketing ad-hoc duties.
Intern requirements and qualifications:
- Must be between the age of 18 and 35;
- Matric with one-year additional qualification or three-year additional qualification;
- Effective written and verbal communication skills;
- Have telephone etiquette;
- Strong desire to learn with professional drive;
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
