The Applied Behavioural Economics (ABE) team at Genesis Analytics is looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our lovely team. Your role will be to help the team deliver on several of the public health projects that we are working on. The internship will last for 6 months, starting as soon as possible. Applications are open until Friday 14 June.

What our team does

We are specialists in human decision-making and behaviour. We apply insights from behavioural economics to solve real world problems. Much of our current work focuses on solving problems in the health sector. For example, we’ve helped encourage men to take up HIV prevention services offered by government, and we’re adjusting feedback processes in the Department of Health to improve motivation among health staff.

Our typical approach involves four phases of work, always with an end-goal of influencing human behaviour:

  1. Understand
  2. Design
  3. Test and Iterate
  4. Handover
