• Reporting to the Head of Operations<\/strong>, the Communications Intern will be responsible for assisting the Communications Lead in maintaining the integrity of the DE Africa brand in all communications, including the visual identity and adherence to program vision and mission.<\/li>\n
• He\/she will assist in executing the communications and public relations plan that will proactively support effective organizational communication.<\/li>\n
• Assist in developing and implementing the DE Africa Communications Strategy and Plan.<\/li>\n
• Internal and External Communications.<\/li>\n
• Reputation and Media Management.<\/li>\n
• Events Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  The ideal candidate will have:<\/p>\n

  • Diploma \/ Degree in Public relations, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications<\/li>\n
  • Proficiency in English \u2013 French as a second language would be advantageous<\/li>\n
  • Ability to write\/edit in a variety of writing styles, and ability to draft materials on a wide range of topics.<\/li>\n
  • Experience with organizational social media management<\/li>\n
  • Interpersonal skills to facilitate work with a wide range of individuals and groups from culturally diverse backgrounds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
