Shoe City is looking to appoint Unemployed Learners to participate in a 1 year Learnership Programme in the Fashion Retail Sector to be based in the following stores;<\/p>\n

  • Cape Town<\/strong>\u00a0(Canal Walk, Vangate Mall, Kenilworth Centre, Promenande Mall),<\/li>\n
  • Durban<\/strong>\u00a0(Gateway, Amanzimtoti),<\/li>\n
  • Gauteng\u00a0<\/strong>(Vaal Mall, Eastgate, Clearwater, The Glen, Mall of the South, Alberton City, Meadowdale Mall, Eastpoint Galleria, Festival Mall),<\/li>\n
  • Polokwane<\/strong>\u00a0(Mall of the North, Savannah Mall),<\/li>\n
  • Burgersfort<\/strong>\u00a0(Tubatse Crossing),<\/li>\n
  • Tshwane<\/strong>\u00a0(Atterbury, Centurion Mall, Kollonade Mall, Wonderpark),<\/li>\n
  • Thohoyandou<\/strong>\u00a0(Thavhani Mall) and\u00a0Witbank<\/strong>\u00a0(Highveld Mall).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • You will be required to work 40 hours per week, scheduled from Monday to Friday<\/li>\n
    • You will be required to attend all classroom-based learning activities<\/li>\n
    • Meet all the requirements for the successful completion of the Retail Operations certificate<\/li>\n
    • Be an active and contributing member of the store team, which includes customer engagement, sales, product management, and professional service to both internal and external customers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Grade 12 certificate\/Matric<\/li>\n
      • Currently unemployed<\/li>\n
      • Should not be registered on another SETA learnership<\/li>\n
      • Between the age of 18 and 30<\/li>\n
      • Commitment to spending 12 months on the Learnership programme<\/li>\n
      • Only South African citizens in possession of a valid SA ID will be considered<\/li>\n
      • Proficient in English, excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills<\/li>\n
      • Computer literate<\/li>\n
      • A positive attitude and a passion for customer service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
