Josiah Kibira University College (JOKUCO) Admission Requirements 2023\/2024 for available <\/strong>JOKUCO courses & programmes.<\/strong><\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The management of the Josiah Kibira University College (JOKUCO) has released the minimum entry requirements for successful admission into the undergraduate and postgraduate (Degree, Ph.D., Masters, Diploma, Certificate, Short Course and Non-Degree) programmes respectively for the 2023\/2024 academic year.<\/p>\n
Interested candidates may apply to any of the Josiah Kibira University College programs (Courses) at any time and be admitted subject to fulfilling JOKUCO\u00a0<\/strong>admission entry requirements for the 2023\/2024 academic year.<\/p>\n

To be eligible for consideration for admission to a BAED or BEd Degree at JoKUCo through direct entry, a candidate must have obtained a Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) or the East African Certificate of Education or equivalent with at least three credit passes in any arts or science subjects and have obtained an Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) or equivalent with at least two principal passes with a total of 2.0 or more points, which are calcu-lated as follows:<\/p>\n
General Requirements:<\/p>\n
To be eligible for consideration for admission to a Bachelor\u2019s Degree at JoKUCo through Equivalent Entry, a candidate must possess a Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) or East African Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) or Equivalent with at least three credit passes in any arts or science subjects<\/p>\n
Candidates, who wish to sit for the TCU Recognition of Prior-Learning (RPL) examinations, will have to apply for RPL examination and register through the Central Admission System (CAS). Candidates who will pass at least at grade \u201cB\u201d will be able to apply through CAS for admission into the programme for which the RLP Examination was sat.<\/p>\n
All applicants for the degree of BScEd or BEdSc must have the approval of Tumaini University Makumira Senate Committee for Academic and Curriculum Affairs (SCACA) and the Senate.<\/p>\n
To be eligible for consideration for admission to a Bachelor\u2019s Degree at JoKUCo through direct entry, a candidate must have obtained a Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) or the East African Certifi-cate of Education or equivalent with at least three credit passes in any arts or science subjects and have obtained an Advanced Certificate of Sec-ondary Education Examination (ACSEE) or equivalent with at least two principal passes with a total of 2.0 or more points, which are calculated as follows:<\/p>\n

To be eligible for consideration for admission to a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Science with Education at JoKUCo through Equivalent Entry, a candidate must possess a Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) or East Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) or Equivalent with at least three credit passes or four passes in any arts or science subjects and fulfil the following faculty \/ programme wise requirements:<\/p>\n

To be eligible for consideration for admission to the Bachelor Accounting (BAF) and to the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Degree at JoKUCo through direct entry, a candidate must have obtained a Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) or the East African Certificate of Education or equivalent with at least three credit passes in any arts or science subjects and an Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) or equivalent, with at least two principal passes with a total of 2 or more points, which are calculated as follows:<\/p>\n
Bachelor of Accounting and Finance (BAF) applicants must have obtained an Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) or equivalent with at least two principal passes with a total of 2 or more points.
\nThe principal passes must be in Accountancy, Commerce, Economics or in any science subjects and the applicant must have obtained at least a pass in mathematics in the Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE).<\/p>\n
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) applicants must have obtained an Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) or equivalent with at least two principal passes with a total of 2.0 or more points.<\/p>\n
The principal passes must be in either Accountancy, Commerce, Economics or in any science subjects and the applicant must have obtained at least a pass in mathematics in the Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE).<\/p>\n
To be eligible for consideration for admission to the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Degree at JoKUCo through Equivalent Entry, applicants must have obtained an Ordinary Diploma relevant to Accountancy or Business Administration from a recognized\/accredited institution with an average grade of 2.7 (\u201cB\u201d) or above and the grade in Statistics, Mathematics or Quantitative Methods at the Diploma level should be “C” or above

\nAn Advanced Diploma within average grade of 2.7 (\u201cB\u201d) or above and the grade in at least in one of the following subjects: Statistics, Mathematics or Quantitative Methods at the Advanced Diploma Level must be \u201cC\u201d or above.<\/p>\n
