Perform tests and sampling according to a schedule of samples collected and submitted to the laboratory so that work is completed within required turnaround times.<\/p>\n

Key Accountabilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

• Perform sample preparation for simple tests and conduct simple tests independently<\/li>\n
• Handle sample storage after testing is completed<\/li>\n
• Dispose of samples after testing is completed<\/li>\n
• Improve laboratory efficiency by influencing capacity<\/li>\n
• Ensure adherence to departmental turnaround times<\/li>\n
• Early warnings to direct supervisor of any delays on turnaround times<\/li>\n
• Cleaning and disinfecting of equipment<\/li>\n
• Notifying management of calibration and service requests<\/li>\n
• Ensuring all analysis and related tasks are performed in accordance with OHS and quality assurance policies and procedures<\/li>\n
• Implement quality TAT corrective actions for area of responsibility<\/li>\n
• Ensure correct stock levels are maintained effectively for testing<\/li>\n
• Build internal relations with core business units<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
